2010 meeting - CLOSED
Grants for young researchers
A grant competition for the attendance of young researchers at the workshop is
closed now. Please note the deadlines on the "important dates" page.
The organizers of the conference will
provide up to 10 grants to graduate students and/or postdocs interested
to pursue their career in the field of NMR. The grants cover the
conference fee and full board and lodgings, including social events, but
no cash. Travel reimbursement will be considered according to need,
after grants have been awarded. We invite all interested candidates to
submit their application for this grant to the following email address:
hbuljan@phy.hr, with the subject line: "applicant's last name - grant -
Trogir".
The application should include:
(1) the curriculum vitae of the candidate;
(2) publication list (graduate students are encouraged to apply even
if they have no publications yet);
(3) letter of intent (stating briefly how the applicant views his/her
future career in the field of NMR);
(4) one letter of reference (e.g., by the PhD advisor for graduate
students); the letter of reference should be sent directly by the
person writing it to hbuljan@phy.hr with the subject line
"applicant's last name - letter of reference".
Submissions of abstract contributions by the candidates are not
necessary, but are of course welcome, as for all participants.
The grant committee shall weigh the various components of the
application differently for graduate students and postdocs, as
appropriate to the candidates' different career stages. An important
criterion will be the candidates' real perspectives for future work in
the field of NMR. |
