I am associate professor at the Department of Physics in Zagreb. My research interest are in the area of experimental high energy physics as well as in applied physics.

Development and applications of new detector systems have been very important parts of my reserach. This includes development and application of the Silicon Detector Telescope (SDT) for electron scattering experiments and MAMI, and application of the Hadron Blind Detector (HBD) for investigations of heavy-ion collisions at RHIC.

Most recently my research is focused on R&D of detectors capable of measuring gamma-ray polarization for novel applications in Positron Emission Tomography as well as in investigations of positronium decay.
