      In the last decade great progress has been made in epitaxial growth of different complex oxides by using Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) and Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE). Recently new interface phenomena, such as interface superconductivity, high-mobility electron gas and ferromagnetism were encountered in different oxides. These observations have raised questions related to electronic charge and orbital reconstruction, cations' disorder and oxygen defects structure at the interfaces. A very important question for further progress in this field is related to the possibility of rational synthesis of oxides materials based on digital layer by layer deposition schemes. This demands further development of the precise deposition technique and study of the emergent states at the oxide interfaces. This can trigger progress in physics, material science and electronic applications. In my talk I will present the Technology Service Group at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart, its mission, present status, recent results and future outlook.
