RECENT RESULTS FROM THE TEVATRON

Abstract 

High energy physics is charged to find the answer to two questions: what
are fundamental constituents of matter and what are fundamental
interactions that govern their behavior. To answer these questions,
scientists build powerful accelerators and very sophisticated detectors.
In this talk a quick overview of high energy physics and its methods is
given and recent results from the Tevatron, the world's energy frontier
are presented. In particular, the status of the search for the Higgs
boson will be shown.
