During the presentation, I will present our Mössbauer spectroscopy studies
of EuFe2As2-based compounds. The parent compound, as well as the doped
systems were studied by 151Eu and 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy in a wide
temperature range, with the aim to explore the range of the electronic
orders across the phase diagram [1-3]. The parent compound exhibits 3d-Fe
itinerant magnetic order of the spin density wave (SDW), and 4f-Eu
localized antiferromagnetism. In the undoped state these two magnetic
systems seem to be uncoupled. With substitution of Eu or Fe with Ca, Co,
and Ni, the SDW is suppressed, and the system becomes electronically
inhomogeneous. In part of the sample volume the superconducting phase
emerges and the 3d magnetism diminished. On the other hand, Eu orders
magnetically regardless of the doping concentration, so superconductivity
coexists with the 4f-Eu magnetic order. It was found that doping induces
the 4f-Eu magnetic moment reorientation (canting) from the a-axis to the
c-axis of the unit cell with inducing the 4f ferromagnetic component.
