Dear all,

The Astro Journal Club will be held on Wednesday at 10:15 in the seminar
room F-201 of the Physics Department. This time we will discuss about the
radio galaxy 4C 35.06.

Presenter: Jacinta Delhaize
Paper title: The peculiar radio galaxy 4C 35.06: a case for recurrent AGN
activity ?
Authors: Shulevski, A., Morganti, R., Barthel, P. D., et al.

Summary:
The authors use LOFAR, WSRT and VLA radio observations to study the
complex source 4C 35.06 in the core of the Abell 407 cluster. They study
the resolved source morphology and create spectral index maps. They also
study the HI absorption profile of the system. They conclude that this
object is an example of a recurrent radio source, where the AGN activity
has ceased at some point and then restarted.

Hope to see you all on Wednesday!

Best wishes,
Oskari
