Part I - "Overview of research and teaching activities
at University of Orleans - Faculty of Science"

Abstract: (a) Presentation of research activities of different
institutes involved in Institute and collegium of physics;
(b) Presentation of teaching activities:
Undergraduate level (L1 to L3) and Master-levels:
1 – Energy and Materials,
2- Instrumentation and Metrology, Management and System Efficiency
(IM²PS) and
3- Specialized master (post diploma master): Sensors and Geoscience.


Part II - "Fast optical diagnostics in laser processing of thin films"

Abstract: Fast pyrometry and time resolved reflectivity are designed in
the GREMI-Lab to detect strong variations in the physical properties
of surfaces and thin films induced by laser beam irradiation. The focus
will be here on the most important results in term of optical and thermal
properties to control the laser processing in heating, melting and
recristallization of various materials.
