<p><span style="font-size:9.5pt">Our goal is is to reach an understanding of biological processes that is based on a mathematical description that is quantitative and predictive. For this purpose, we develop quantitative experimental tools
to control cells such as microfluidics and high throughput microscopy, as well as mathematical modelling and simulations. </span></p>
<div>
<p>Our lab is an interdisciplinary environment which promotes projects that can be mostly theoretical (see Sandler et al., Nature 2015) or mostly experimental (see Levin-Reisman et al., Science 2017), or even applied to solve the antibiotic
resistance crisis (see Gefen et al., Scientific Reports 2017), in collaboration with the medical world.</p>
