Dear colleagues,

The group of Molecular and Statistical Biophysics at SISSA, Trieste, is 
planning an opening for 1 professor position (Associate or tenure-track).

Areas of particular interest for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Bioinformatics,
- Quantitative systems biology.

The candidate is expected to work as an independent principal investigator, 
bringing complementary expertise to the group which has a strong focus on 
physics-based modelling, method development and applications. Besides 
attracting external funds, the candidate is also expected to take active part 
to the SISSA PhD programme in Physics and Chemistry of Biological Systems and 
supervise students.

Depending on seniority and formal requirements the candidate may qualify for a 
tenure track position (?Ricercatore a Tempo Indeterminato di tipo B?) or a 
permanent Professore Associato position.
