Dear Colleagues, 

Apologies if you get this more than once, from different people. It is to let you know of a course this summer on "Multiscale Modeling of Flowing Soft Matter and Polymer Systems". I am lecturing on it!

The course is aimed at PhD students, postdocs, and young scientists and engineers. It will be held in Udine (Italy) from 25 - 29 July 2016.

The course is organized by CISM, and other people lecturing include Jason Reese (Edinburgh University, UK), Ignacio Pagonabarraga (University of Barcelona, Spain), Paola Carbone (Manchester University, UK), Daniele Marchisio (Politechnico di Torino, Italy), and Alessandro Troisi (University of Warwick, UK).

We will cover the basics of single-scale modelling (quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics, mesoscale modelling, computational fluid dynamics), and strategies to couple the different scales together in one single simulation.
